Yes, that would be a green tomato this little gardener picked this morning. He was very excited about his bounty until he took a little bite. :)

Crazy mint plant, growing like a weed!
This is my first summer trying to grow some veggies! We had a late start with the arrival of Reeve so I wasn't sure whether I would have any success. However, I have been pleasantly surprised with what we've cultivated. We have cucumbers, tomatoes, snap peas, lettuce, peppers and a few green beans. Also I have some herbs growing in the kitchen. I have hopes to make some homemade pesto soon.
